The Challenge
The National Health Fund (NHF) sought a mobile app solution to simplify the process of ordering medications, making it more accessible and convenient for users across the country. The app needed to enable users to upload their prescriptions, select a pharmacy, and have their medication delivered to their doorstep. A critical feature was the ability to track the real-time location of the delivery driver. This platform would streamline communication between users, pharmacies, and delivery services, ensuring a seamless experience for filling prescriptions.

Akuton developed a comprehensive mobile application for NHF that allows users to upload prescriptions, choose from a list of nearby pharmacies, and have their medications delivered directly to them. The app features live location tracking, enabling users to monitor the delivery in real time, ensuring transparency and reducing anxiety about when their medication will arrive.
Prescription Fulfillment
The app’s user-friendly interface allows customers to easily upload prescriptions by either taking a photo or uploading a digital version. Pharmacists can review, approve, and prepare the prescriptions for delivery. The platform integrates with a range of pharmacies, offering a variety of choices for users based on location and preference. The delivery tracking feature uses GPS integration to provide real-time updates on the driver’s location.
